Tip shooting landscape in the golden hours to become lighter


As many know, one good tip for shooting a landscape is to choose the right time is at sunrise or before sunset. But surely the constraints is that we will lack the lighting for our landscape photography.

A simple way to overcome lighting limitations when golden hour is by utilizing the reflection of skylight with the help of water. This will add the bright to our landscape which will avoid the image that is not shaped or underexposed of it foreground.

Putting water in landscape photos will lighter the area. It would be more interesting if we get a unique cloud formations and other colors.

It also takes some experimenting to get the perfect position of skylight reflection in water, so we can get the balance of lighting. But however it turns out it will still be lighter than without putting water into the area.

Recognize the benefits of color in a photography


We sometimes forget the importance of the role of color in a photography and more focus on technical or other rules in photography, so do not be wrong if even if you have been feeling to do the right but still not provide perfect results. Therefore, do not forget the role of a color in your photo to produce works in accordance with your wishes.

Color can transform a simple picture becomes more interesting. Color can also be used to demonstrate the theme of a picture like the theme of sadness, joyful, mysterious, melancholy and as emotional communication which can arouse the viewer's mood.

So how do we get to control the color? We can indirectly control the color using the landscape that will change according to the weather or day. We can use natural or artificial lighting to control the color. The shot angle variation can be used for the color patterns composition. Use Longer Focal Lengths for Best Landscape Photography


Shoot pictures of landscapes is very perfect if we use a wide angle lenses, especially to get dramatic wide vistas. But you will be able to get a more effective way by adding a longer focal length lens in those over-photographed locations where images can end up looking a little cliched.

Shooting with longer focal length will also add a little variety in your landscape photography. They’re also great for capturing patterns and layers on the horizon that often go unnoticed in landscapes shot with a wide lens. The simple way to apply the shots with longer focal lengths is to use the aid of a tripod to help strengthen when there is camera shake or movement. You can also consider to use a remote shutter release. With a longer lens, it will become more noticeable.
